Unhappy I need to attach my new 6 pronged headlight into my 8 pronged '05 350Z

Help! I've looked everywhere on how to convert an 8 prong to 6 prong and vice versa but with no luck on how to actually do it. So please if someone would care to explain on how to do this, pictures preferable please, I'm new to all of this Or post a link to a similar forum

These are the headlights I bought: (no I don't want to switch them, I like how they look, unless it's physically impossible to connect them)

HID Xenon + 03-05 Nissan 350Z (Halogen Model) Angel Eye Halo & LED DRL Projector Headlights - Gloss Black

Please I'm begging to the car gods, show me the way. I'm two seconds away from

Your .sig: "How do you connect a 8 prong base to a 6 prong new headlight???"

Reading this tells me you have an HID car and you want to install non-HID lamps... yes?

You do realize that by installing halogen assemblies into your HID equipped car, you're downgrading, despite the halo and other tricky stuff? The real measure of a headlight... L-I-G-H-T O-U-T-P-U-T not gimmicks.

But.... your car.

Just don't. Those aftermarket lights (yes, all of them) are crap in terms of effectively lighting the road at night. If you want an upgrade to what your car came with, the OEM bi-xenon headlights from '06> are great, but expensive. Depo, a company which makes high-quality OEM-grade replacement lighting parts, sells a clone of the OEM bi-xenons. There are several threads you can find about installing these in an older Z, as well as threads on how to mod them, if you're into the angel eyes look.

I would suggest carefully reading one of the install threads before buying these, to make sure you understand the wiring and the other parts you might need.

I got depo black housing+OEM 2006 Ballast+Some hid bulbs from my m3. follow the pin configuration on the thread above. I did it in 1 hour with all the parts. Don't forget to get the O ring to seal the back housing lid. deep does not come with it if you are coming from base like me.

Why not save yourself a lot of time and trouble, and buy a set of these:

Search for,the several install threads here, which will provide all the info on which extra parts you may need, how to wire them, and how to mod them.
