How much would you pay for a supercharged 350Z
Hello folks,
I need some honest advise on how much to sell my 350z.
The mods are in the signature below; it currrently has 87.5K and pushed 400whp (Vortech 2) when it was over 85F. Need to sell the car now due to starting a family...toys need to go.
The car is a 2003 Track and Black in color. The car is in good condition for its age.
Thank you in advance

Best way to max your profit income is to part it out and sell the aftermarket, then sell a stock Z.
But if you don't have the time to do so, then I would suggest uploading pictures, and providing plenty of paperwork for a potential buyer, considering taking offers.

No need to sell toys to start a family. I had my Z before kids, hopefully will still have it when they leave the house

Aftermarket non oem accessories do not add value to a vehicle aside from a show car or race car but not in a street driver. Most with interest and money for a faster than stock car want a unmolested foundation to start. I learned alot of this all through my twenties. I suggest returning car as close to stock as you can and maybe leave some aftermarket in place. If the car has lowering springs than leave them. If the car has coil overs pull them and sell them. Same for other stuff. If you have a $80 head unit leave it but if you have a $750 Pioneer Nav pull it and sell it. My best advice to you

A little over KBB for an otherwise stock/OEM car...offer to pay for a 3rd party inspection (including a leak-down test & compression test), give the buyer a few hundred dollars off the car to account for a blower rebuild...
with that being said prepare to get 1/2 to 1/4 of what you have in the car. Cars are not investments and these cars are dime-a-dozen.
do you have to sell?

Agreed. I bought my Z in 2009 from a woman 8 months pregnant. I saw 2 full sized SUVs in her garage. Not sure what she was thinking, don't care. I got a smokin' deal on it.

I would NEVER buy a modded car. Period. Why do I want to buy anyone else's problem? Don't take that wrong.... I don't know you or of you so I - as a careful, savvy buyer immune to rampant urges - have to presume the worst.
I would - if I had to sell for growing family - part out the add ons then sell it with no aftermarket parts.

Other thing I wanted to add. My mustang I bought new in late 02 and died late 2001, I spent my life on and it was fully modified from head to toe. I mean every single piece from suspension, wiring, engine, everything was aftermarket and done tasteful. I was working on selling it as a show car. Like a weekend warrior show street car. I sat down one day and did a full mod list of all the parts aftermarket and what those parts were going for used. The total came out to alot more than the retail value of the car. I came close to fully parting out a perfect condition car down to the frame and it would have been a hard slow job but with eBay and web forums it would have been a good profit. Might want to be something to think about. People usually don't do that to a perfectly running car but for max profit it's something to contemplate.

What would be the price in 2020? Whatever the price is, it is hard for people to buy something like this in 2020 because 90% of people have faces some kind of money issues. I was in that group of people, because the place where I was working before the virus got closed. It was scary for me for a few days, but I got my **** together, and I managed to find a side hustle that made it possible for me to work and make money. I started driving for Uber, UberEats was really popular because no one could go eat in a restaurant, I made enough to survive...
