Hey so I have a 350z 2003 without the stock nav but recently found the whole system for dirt cheap on craigslist, can someone give me a brief summary of the steps on how to install it? much appreciated

Welcome, but a brief search would have shown you that there is no easy way to re-fit the stock nav system to a Z33 not originally equipped with one. More importantly, there are aftermarket GPS systems that offer more current maps and are easier to fit and update than the original OEM system.

yeah dude everyone is right so far. you do not have the correct wiring, speakers, and amps to retro fit. however its better that you don't have a Navi, which makes installing aftermarket audio systems a lot easier.

IMHO, the OEM satnavs are a pile of s***e. You'd be far better off buying one and fitting it the cubby. A lot of them these days fit in the cubby with the minimum of adjustment and look like they were factory fitted. Plus you get a lot of extra's that you just don't get with the OEM. Altenatively buy a double din head unit with Maps & Nav or buy Galaxy Tab4, buy back and front plastic mouldings and again it'll look just like it came from the factory.
