Default DRL bulb flashes instead of turn signal

So the little DRL bulb inside the headlight is flashing when a turn signal is on instead of the actual turn signal. These are 03 HID headlights off of my parts car. My car is an 06. Any ideas? Headlights themselves to work properly.

I suspect you have something wired incorrectly.

Nothing was wired. I literally just connected the connectors.

While the connectors for 03 and 06 models may be identical, the pin-outs may be different. You need to download the Service Manuals for both model years and check.

Yes oem for the 03. I was just going to swap the pins for the DRL with the turn signal on the headlight and see if I can get it to work. Anyone have access to the pin-out diagram for the 03 and 06 headlights?

Problem solved! I did find another thread that have me an idea of what to do. I didnt want to cut any wires so i took the pins out of the connector. I swapped the power wires for the DRL and the turn signal, didn't work same issue. I probably stared at the pieces left of my 06 wiring harness and the 03 wiring harness for at least 15 minutes. Then i remembered that the turn signals are GROUND SIDE SWITCHED! I put the ground for the ballast in the same location where it was on the 06 and then swapped the smaller ground wires. Turn signals and headlights worked as they should afterwards.

EDIT: I should probably mention that I re-pinned the headlight harness, not the harness on the car

Jus due to sample electricity. You have something crossed.

Edit: never mind you already found it.
