Hey you guys!

Hopefully you all are having a great holiday season! I have read information on my350z.com for awhile now. Lately ( while on my IPAD) I keep getting a pop up about winning an Amazon gift card. I’ve tried all the setting tricks to remove my history and cookies. I was just wondering if anybody had the same issue.

 

Same thing occurs for me.

 

Same sort of, on my galaxy note 4 I get a crazy popup saying my phone is infected. Also sometimes I'm typing on the phone and backspacing makes it freak out/words copy themselves which I then have to go delete. Thanks guys to whoever keeps the site working for us all. I'm here daily and love it.

 

I just got the exact same thing.

I find this site to be incredibly useful but the ads are just out of control, it isn’t coded particularly well and it isn’t optimized for mobile devices.

That and the fact that the images aren’t scaled means that some of the multi-pic threads take forever to flippin load.

Anyone know if a premier membership get you no or reduced ads?

 

I just went to the App Store and got Chrome, I thought maybe it was the browser. Before I could logon it popped up. I’ve reset, I’ve erased, I’ve done everything I know how to.

 

happening on CorvetteForum as well, which is another IB site... but i dont think it is them, it is a rogue ad somewhere.


For Chrome, enter the following URL in the address bar:
chrome://flags/#enable-framebusting-needs-sameorigin-or-usergesture

Then enable the highlighted option.

I added an add block App. I guess I don’t clearly understand how it works, but it uses VPN.

Happens on my Galaxy S7

 

No issues with my iPad

 

When I don't log in, I get ads out the wazoo, particularly on my iPad. When I log in with my premier membership, I get no ads whatsoever.

I'd go premier regardless; I've run a few websites in my day and know it can be an expensive undertaking (both in money and in spirit.)

 

I got rid of this issue by both turning on an Adblocker and clearing my history.

 

I suspect that IB has resolved the issue. Haven't seen any errant "You've won some shid!" pop-ups for a bit. If they still come up, please post to this thread.
