Default 350z does not reconize the gear i am in

Hi there i am kinda stuck on this one but my 2004 Automatic 350z doesn't reconize that it is in park or neutral. Normally where it shows the gear your in on the dash it is blank like the car is not in any gear any suggestion on what it maybe?

Check your fuse of the sensor thats non your transmission that reads that. Or check to make sure the sensor isn't broken.

Either under your hood by the battery or by your pedals to the left. I'd assumE the one you need is in the interior kick panel fuze box.

The sensor should be here

I believe the trans that you showed me in the picture above is a MT if i am mistaken please correct me because my 350z is auto (unfortunately) and i cant seem to find the said sensors. Not to mention the transmission that u showed seems to look like a z32 trans not a z33 but i maybe mistaken

hey I’m having the same problem, did you figure it out, if so what was the issue, I’m starting to think I might have a bad ecm
