Default Engine Surging and running like ****

Quick recap:

After driving for a while I got the code for the knock sensor harness, bought the new harness from Z1. Took off the plenum which i've done 100 times (5 times) and removed the fuel rails and intake manifold for the first time.

I swapped out the sensor pigtail, lubed up the injector o-rings, and torqued everything down with new gaskets as the fsm instructs.

After everything was back together, the car ran great. Took a few laps around the block and did a few hard pulls in second and third. Felt great.

Saturday morning i woke up, drove it to the gas station, filled up 12 gallons, drove 20 miles to a drift event with everything in perfect order. Only code was P1564 which i've had since installing my quick release.

Started my Z up for the parade lap around the track and the car started misfiring and surging and bucking under load.

Checked codes and had a crankshaft position sensor code. Diagnosed it as an issue with the connector to the sensor, bypassed it and the car was still having the same issues.

-Changed plugs (which had less than 50 miles on them). They were completely covered in oil.
-New coilpacks
-Cleaned the maf with contact cleaner
-Checked for vacuum leaks (contact cleaner) no leaks around the plenum, and sprayed it inside the window in the timing cover to see if the intake manifold might suck something up, no drop in rpms.
-Disconnected coil pack #1 and then got a random misfire code, didn't have one before (this made me think it's not the coilpacks)

That's about as far as I got with diagnosing the issue with the tools I had at the track.

I'm thinking one of the injectors is clogged, just wanted to pop on here and see if anyone has heard of a similar issue, before I go and "re-install" the injectors.

Thanks for reading peoples.

Unless he’s got a couple Z’s he drifts... I think it’s a safe bet to assume this is the new motor he swapped in.

Another reason I quit drifting. The amount of wearing it puts on your parts ain’t worth it.

Yes, yes it is. But she was good for 2 weeks until I took off the manifold and injectors. So i'm blaming myself before the motor.

Haha yeah yeah but I haven't even got to drift since the first one blew so for now it's basically just a street car that's too low to drive as a daily.

If it’s after the manifold and injectors pull them off again and see if you split a o ring, have a bad injector or have a bad gasket.

I was about to, but they I started disconnecting coil packs and found that 1, 2 & 4 weren't firing.

Plugs 1 and 4 were covered in oil, while #2 had 0 gap on the electrode. *Note to self* Don't just drop the plug down the tube

Time for new valve covers. These were already "fixed" with RTV from the previous JDM AF owner. What's the latest on VCs?

04-05 Maxima or just go with some cheapo $60 pair off ebay https://www.ebay.com/i/272763524051?chn=ps&dispItem=1
