New wheel question?
I’m looking at getting some new wheels and had a question about weather or not they would fit correctly. I am wanting to run 19x10.5 in the rear and 19x9 in the front with a 20 offset on all 4. This is my first time buying custom wheels so don’t know much about them.

Tire sizes that work with no issues: 245/35 & 275/35 F-R OR 255/35 & 285/35 (a little snug if lowered and not rolled but only requires slight roll to fit)
They'll fit fine. Just watch the rear fender lips for clearance but +20s should work OK without rolling depending on whether you are lowered or not. Personally I'd go 9.5 in front.

But here ya go, stagger is factory engineered into the Z33 due to its suspension type and said design's(not the car necessarily, just the type of suspension) propensity towards snap oversteer.
No, it's NOT generally a problem. The Z is an UNDERsteering pig out of the box as a matter of fact. But.... I (as in IMO) prefer the way the car turns in with sharp steering response and the rear end is controllable with throttle using stagger setup.
That's ME. Others will tell you otherwise and suggest that a square setup mitigates understeer and to some degree it does because if you think about it logically, adding more tire to the front adds a bit more grip so the front is then less prone to washing out. All good, but I just don't care for the feel.
So, what's the answer? I'd say to generalize it, if you are tracking and you know what type of handling characteristics you want/need for your local track then adjust as needed (meaning, go square if that suits your track).
But for every day driving, there's no real need to do so. Stick with stagger.
OK people, have at it....
EDIT: so far as the 9/10.5 versus 9.5/10.5, ehhhh, don't worry about it. That .5 isn't going to make THAT much of a diff and should be fine if 9.5s aren't available.
Oh, and I don't usually toot my own horn but if you need to get a slightly better understanding of offset and what it does for (and against) you, here: https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-...t-novices.html

Ouch. You probably don't want to get me started on the "square vs stagger battle", hahahahaha....

Since I'm a "visual person", here's those exact sizes on my car with 9.5 +19/10.5 +29:
Same size wheels, F&R +22mm with 255/35 and 285/35 (but note that my fenders ARE rolled for clearance for my +15s so just about anything fits now):
Good luck! Post pics when done!

Just a FYI I have a few friends who run 9.5/10.5 and they regret not going 10.5/15mm offset square on the track.
And each of them HEAVILY told me to go square. That said, I have 10.5 square I just got in last week. I’ve only mounted them and being OCD, I wish I went with 10 square for looks. But my car is a track project so the extra .5” of rubber is better than the little bit of wheel sticking out past the fenders.
But if you’re just going for looks, the 10” will be EXACTLY flush with your fenders and not stick out any. Again off friends advice go square if you plan for track use.

My 19x9/19x10 LMZ5 S-Tunes.... 20lbs each. Bishin' dude!
My Volks in 9.5/10.5 are relative boat anchors at 24 and 26 F-R. (But somehow they work very well on factory Niz)
