Default Hr 350 idle surging and no throttle while driving?????

Hello all, before I start tracing my steps back to the begining, I wanted to see if anyone has experienced this or can lend some insight on a it could be this or that solution.

A few months ago I was being stupid and blew apart my drivers side rocker cover and the upper intake plenum. I bought all the right parts and installed everything properly while double checking everything. Upon start up it sounded horrible....but after awhile it settled down. I did find small pieces of melted plastic behind the car so it definitely shot outta the exhaust.

My issue is that the car has a 1100 - 1800rpm fluctuation when in neutral and park....sometimes when driving it'll jerk almost like I gave it gas and let off real quick.....I took it for a drive and everything seems to be in good shape sounds fine...no knocks...pings.... or klunks, but as I was heading back home from my test drive the TCS and Slip lights came on and I lost all throttle pedal...nothing at all. tried easing it and a little heavy foot and the cars rpms wouldn't rise. Got it home from doing a solid 20mph thanks to my high idle problem and shut it off. Waited an hour and had all pedal again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated....thank you very much in advance

Just a few things to do off the top of my head:

1. Complete the throttle position reset/relearn.
2. Reset ECU.
3. Check for vacuum leak.

sorry but that was funny. Do the throttle re-learn and check codes if the issue persists.

But in limp mode you can still accelerate.....This was 0% throttle.

Lets go back to how you blew the top side of your motor apart and what you replaced.

sounds like a dead throttle body. have you checked the codes? you know, the first place you start at into figuring out why you car is messed up.

Electronic throttle, basically your throttle body motor and or plate has issues. Do a search as I'm sure there have been others with the same code pop up.

I have looked at the other threads...non of them explain how to fix and some of theyre problems didn't relate to what I'm experiencing. This is so frustrating....It comes and goes as it pleases is what's really getting to me.
