Iso used supercharger
I have a 2003 350z bolt ons and a 75 shot looking to get rid of the bottle and go with a supercharger
any suggestions of which one to go with?
or to be honest if I can find a used one i would be happy with any otherwise for the same money ill build a turbo setup

Turbo = money money money when done right.
SC = money money (cheaper than Turbo, but not by much)
It's a personal preference thing at the end of the day, also application based. How do you plan to use the vehicle?
I'm not familiar with emissions laws in Ohio, but here in CA, there are zero options available for C.A.R.B. legal turbos on 350Zs, single or twin, they don't exist. But there are two or more legal SC options available. Things get real dicey here if you plan to daily drive a turbo-charged Z.

Basically as long as there aren't parts falling off the car nobody cares around here Hell as it sits the car is fully gutted no side windows at all no airbags 1 omp fixed back seat a 5 point harness and a sparco wheel with nrg quick release headers back no cats to a stillen muffler

350-400whp with no bottle to refill would be ideal
would actually prefer the stillen roots kit from years ago with the instant boost and good under the curve torque

This for sure...I came from ATI's procharger setup and it was pretty good. very reliable, stupid simple to tune, and the kit was all inclusive with minimal mods to make it fit.
The downside with the Procharger and Stillen Roots is that they're not scaleable. The vortech kit is. The stillen kit will get you around 350hp the procharger will get a little higher (400hp) and the vortech is pretty versatile (look at what OldManZ has done)...
I can see wanting the power delivery linear, my procharger was making positive boost around 1800rpm and it came on strong. Even with a bunch of pulley mods I was only able to make 13-14psi yielding 455hp.
Ive since gone greddy TT and if I had it all over again I'd do a bigger (but not crazy massive) single front mount or mid-mount turbo.
I like the turbo lag and subsequent pull once the air compresses.
what do you mean by refilling a bottle? nitrous?

Vortech would be my choice for SC......BP single turbo FTW.
Buying a used SC might turn out to be a pain in the ***......buying a NEW BP single would mean you would def have everything you need AND excellent customer service.

pain in the *** for sure ... especially with all the little **** that gets left on the original car.
