I brought my Z home from the dealership 15 years ago today. How time flies. I have enclosed a picture from the day I bought my car as well as a picture taken about 2 weeks ago.
WEll someone has certainly treated their Z with the love care and attention that it deserves. Like dkmura the only thing i noticed that is different are the six spoke Rays which have replaced the 17" standards. They look like they fill the arches better than the OEM's, is that due to spacers? It seems to sit a little lower as well which suits it.
I can imagine there being more than a couple of people on this site who would struggle to tell which is new and which has just had its 15th birthday.
these guys are rookies! window tint, removed mudflaps, upgraded to 06+ taillights, exhaust (could just be tips), rear wiper delete, front bumper marker upgrade, rear hatch Z emblem and short antenna on top of the wheels. I RECOGNIZE THE SMALL THINGS U DO!!
Looks better than the day you bought it Korner...I am coming up on my 13 years in a few weeks and love mine as much or more than I did when I brought it home in 2005. Keep on enjoying that ride my man.
I believe you are a more mature (i.e. older) 350z owner (as I am). I bought my 350z new in 2003, and it has been my DD ever since.
A recent picture
I've done a few modifications, but the car is mostly the Performance model I bought when Nissan reintroduced the 'Z as the 350z.
Also... I enjoy reading your posts. They are always interesting and informative.

KornerCarver,
Congrats on a beautiful 350Z, I'm so glad you still enjoy it.
Polished is sooo much better than chromed. Your wheels look great!!
Did you come out of Vietnam as OK? I ask because so many of my buddies did not.
I think I came out pretty good. My wife thinks otherwise but hey, that is ok. I have had some bad times but fortunately, most of that is behind me now. The VA says I am normal but what do they know.

I ask "what is normal?"
I don't really give a shid ackshully. All I know is that as kid who turned 18 the same year the war ended, I'm thankful that my lottery # never came up.
But, that said, have nothing but confusion and shame that "we" treated 'Nam vets with the disdain and "attitude" we did for their service!! WTF! To this day, I shake my head that our soldiers were treated so f'd up for serving their country at the behest of the go-rot-in-hell politicians who were responsible for "rewarding" our soldiers by being thrown under the bus to save their own political lives!
I thank all vets and those who serve every day so that I can go on and on about something so trivial as a 350Z when compared with the sacrifices made by our armed forces.
Besides all that, Mister KornerCarver knows how much I like his car!!

I was warned while stationed over in GE to never let the VA do anything to me if I could help it. Met a SSG who lost the majority of the mobility in his shoulder after getting surgery from a VA doc.
