I have been in communications w Jeff at Shift-Tech Performance the last couple of days. First thing I noticed is his customer service is top notch. He spoke to me by phone for over an hr and explained his products in detail and what I could realistically expect out of the different combinations I was interested in. Super cool guy to speak to and you can tell he really loves what he is doing and the products he’s bringing to market. If you’re even considering his products I recommend you send him an email and he will respond and get you all the information you need.
To sum things up, I went ahead and ordered the upper plenum, lower plenum, and a spacer. I will be matching this up w my existing 75mm throttle body, mishimoto intake and getting a tune in very early November when my Z1 headers go in.

I haven't dynoed it but it does feel better than a modded upper and lower with a spacer, ultimately I didn't really care about numbers as much as ease of access. It makes working on the car infinitely easier, fits under the strut bar without spacers and is better suited for boost which I plan to do. Also has a spot for the MAP sensor to thread right in.

Also, I like that I no longer need to use an adapter for my 75mm throttle body. It is now repositioned to OEM state and makes it look better. I never rubbed on my strut bar, but did need some spacers to clearance due to the 3/8” spacer I had.
Your bay does seem to free up a bit of space in there which is nice.

i know what you mean about the strut tower bar. I may get a carbing bar soon. But honestly I have never noticed that it doesn’t perform well. Probably because I don’t drive the car much.
