Default Window Mechanism

When I got my 03 350z the drivers window didn’t work. One day I was messing with it and found out it will work if I hold the down button, open the door then close it with the button still held. It will work up and down until it goes all the way down or all the way up. Then it stops working again.

Does anyone know what problem this might be?

It really sounds like you need a new motor, not hard to replace just takes time. Driver side window is way easier to fix then passenger window it seemed to me.

Agree with new window motor. When mine started to go, if I held the switch up or down and gave the door a little love tap, it would work temporarily.
