Like I said...I know it’s not worth it. I just need information on how to do it. That’s why I haven’t found the answer by searching. If I have a donor car how would I go about the swap?

Find these people and do exactly what they did. No one here has done this successfully and in a given year this topic comes up two or three times per month. For all intents and purposes considerate it impossible or possible at a cost far far far too expensive.

this...a member here has accomplished this with the help of a very competent shop, I believe some financial backing, and the use of Uprev before uprev got cracked down on by the EPA/US Govt.

obviously they are significantly closer than a chevy and a dodge - but for all intents and purposes the DE and the HR are vastly different.

Alex - I like ya, I think you're an alright guy but there is no significant documentation on this topic.

I would highly suggest you look into this swap but know there is no existing information, no DIY, no youtube videos, no secrets forums, no one with a wealth of knowledge ... it just hasnt been done widely enough.

I would hope you take this challenge on and document everything! You will become an internet god and everyone will know your name and you will be widely respected around the globe.

You havent found the information because it's not out there (I think we've told you this 3 or 4 times now). But keep searching - you may find how to do it. But no current member is going to be able to help you because it hasnt been done.

No one knows ... be the guy that figures this out and document your build.

HRs dont use the CD009 trans. They use the JK41B.
People say its not worth it because of the **** ton of wiring that needs to be done. There are shops who have it down to a science and can do it for you but it all boils down to why? Unless you do everything your self sans maybe wiring why not just get a DE build it and super charge it? It will cost less.
12k gets you an LS swap anymore. ****, throw a 2j in there.

Ive never even done it and I can tell you that you will need the HR ECU the body control unit witch will probably means you need to pay 500 to remove the NATS. The VQ35HR also sits higher in the engine bay, thats why the HRs have the hump in the hood, so some cutting or a hood swap may be necessary.
I have seen a lot of HR swap recently, but every single one of them are from someone who got a super cheap / Free donner HR Car and they gut it and have a shop do the wiring. Less people use the forums and post this stuff on facebook anymore.

Just do it. It appears that no amount of "not worth the time" responses will sway you. I wouldn't need an explanation if I got that many "no"'s from seasoned members

Good! start a thread to document your findings … you may get bits and pieces of information and help from members to push you along the way. I'm sure it will be very popular and you'll get good feedback from fellow members.
