Default Installation of XM with Bluetooth

I am considering installing one of the new XM Bluetooth docking stations with an Onyx Plus receiver in my Z. When I installed navigation in my Z, I used the place under the dash to install the GPS antenna and that worked well. That's the same place that the factory used for factory installed navigation antennas. I plan to use the same space for the XM antenna rather that an external antenna. Has anyone tried that?

I have not done this specifically in a Z, but looking at the location in the FSM, that should be OK. I've installed a number of SXM add-on tuners over the years, and I usually installed the antenna at the center-base of the windshield, on top of the dash. For where I am in the midwest (IL / WI / IN / MI), people didn't complain about reception issues with the antenna mounted like that.
