Default Weight when gutted

Anyone know how much 03 DE manual weighs when gutted.

Like everything gone, just a couple lightweight buckets in it, front a rear bumper also removed.

is it safe to say under 3000lbs?

thanks.

Not sure if you asking in the right place or not. You should ask racer with the Z.
My cousin is a pro drifter driving the Z33. He said shell it self around 800-900 kilogram (so around 1900 lb).

In a word, stripping down a Z won't yield as big a weight drop as many think. Nissan tried to keep the weight down by using lightweight materials where it could- even the front and rear bumper supports are made of aluminum. My '06 SCCA racecar comes across the scales at just under 3K when I run it without ballast.

I would say I'm 95% 'gutted'. I still have all my OEM panels and OEM seats, I could drop a few more lbs from interior items and I'm a shade under 2900lbs. It should be stated that I'm single turbo'd and I have a very custom front end.

On a NA setup you could probably get the car down to 2650 to 2700lbs if you have a healthy amount of cash to spend and knew how to fabricate.

2660, with still more options to reduce weight.

Swapping parts for lighter parts. Ex. Lightweight battery, 2-Piece rotors, carbon fiber doors, etc etc. lexen panel is all an option too. Anyway, that number comes from a guy on YouTube who seem into reducing weight but slowly like normal people without blowing all their money on their car.
