Hey all, I'm going to replace the clutch and maybe flywheel. I am all stock and don't want the chatter of a light weight clutch kit.
I bought a kit from NAPA and wondering if I should of got one from Z1.
Napa Clutch kit.
Napa Flywheel
Or send this back and get the Z1 kit found here. ??

Since you've already got the NAPA parts, I'd just install the clutch kit. Do a thorough inspection of the flywheel surface on the car before you commit to replacing it.

You'll need to check for grooving and surface wear on the flywheel engagement surface. If it's so worn that it's no longer smooth and level, check the FSM for wear limits.

Besides, the OP has a new flywheel to use if the original is damaged beyond further use.

Good point, years ago most machine shops wouldn't even try. I've heard some are doing it now, but previous experience would preclude me from the effort.
I wasn't clear on his post in that he said he had the clutch kit, but mentioned "maybe" the flywheel. If he has both, then by all means, please do install the flywheel while you're there.
