Default What is this connector

I was cleaning out the trunk of the z and I came across this connector. Does anyone what this is and what it’s suppose to connect to?

Not sure myself. But my wife's Altima has one as well in the trunk lid. It doesn't go to anything. I'm guessing it's just something that may be for higher trim levels and they just throw it in for no reason?

If it's a 12-pin connector it's probably for the optional satellite radio receiver.

I have a touring with satellite radio (loving it). I'll check tomorrow for you unless I get out of my laziness today.

My guess is either the Satellite radio or the optional Bose system amplifier connector. It's not uncommon for the same wiring harness to be used across all trim levels, leaving some plugs or connectors vacant on lower level trim packages.

That’s good to know. I do have a Bose subwoofer behind the drivers seat. But the connector that I took a picture of is on the passages side of the trunk.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, the 12-pin white connector on that side is for satellite radio.
