I Need help my fellow Z and G friends .
Okay everyone I have a 2005 350z DE/Auto she gave me 2.5 years of daily driving pleasure . Lol
long story short 1.5 years ago I hit a wild pig and 7 piglets . I bought a 2006 G35 rev up w/6 speed minus hood , bumper and title for $800 for a donor car. Thinking it was plug and play . So now a year later and many headaches I am here finally asking instead of reading . I'm not sure what to do next . I removed the DE/Auto with the harness and ecu and replaced it with the G35 rev up , 6 speed , harness and ecu. Of course completed the swap . I have the clutch pedal wired into the 53 pin on the idpm. Also I had the ecu from the G35 sent to Z1 to get tuned added ARC and disabled NATS .
That being said , it cranks over but wont start . When ignition switch is on , the fans come on everything lights up on the dash and the security light cones on and stays on until you turn the switch off .

The 2005 350Z used a non-revup engine/harness. An 06 G35 with a Revup harness/ecu will not play nice. It's expecting input from additional cam sensors and probably other components. Even with a reflash/tune, I'm not sure if this kind of configuration will work. It might just be easier to swap in the entire Revup power plant. It also looks like the anti-theft system isn't happy about a change in the ignition system or BCM. This is where you start requiring dealer level software/tools to overcome the factory security system and I doubt a dealer is going to want to lay hands on a Frankenstein 350Z. You might be able to find a private shop that really understands these vehicles or toss the OEM ECU and go complete aftermarket (Haltech or similar). No idea if this will resolve the antitheft/BCM issues though. I'm no expert when it comes to messing with late model car computers and CAN BUS stuff so take this all with a grain of salt.
