I have a 03 350Z, it has a jwt pop charger intake, intake plenum spacer, stillen headers, test pipes, and catback system, pulley delete, stage 2 clutch kit from Z1, and a short throw shifter installed. I would like to make some more power without breaking the bank (anything under $1k). So I’m asking, what next? The Z that needs power^

Retune your expectations. Take a look around this site and you'll find MANY threads about this very topic. Nissan did a good job exploiting most of the NA paths to increasing HP/TQ in the Z and incremental increases are what's left
OK, now that's a suggestion I never thought of. Fits the budget (cost of kit at least). Nitrous always seemed like "a cheater bottle" but hey, for that occasional blast, seems like an interesting thought so long as there's a local source for gas refills (besides Taco Bell).
But I'd guess you'd still need a tune or aftermarket ECU that recognizes the need for timing retard during "on bottle" operation and can alter that.
True. OP would still need a tune which would eat into the thousand dollar budget quite a bit, but in order to add some noticeable power with this type of budget, seems like nitrous would be the way to go.
Can you be specific on your "Stage 2" Z1 clutch? They don't list such a thing on their website. My guess is that it's a step up from the clutch, but there are several options for more engagement force and lighter flywheel. I just bought one and went with the Performance Street spring plate, unsprung full-face friction disc, and mid-weight flywheel. Trying to find a window to put it in and see if I smoked/glazed my pads or if they're just worn down.
Speaking of lighter flywheel, have you looked into lightening the rotating inertia? Along with the flywheel, you can lighten the crankshaft pulley and there are probably others, also. This'll give you better responsive acceleration.
A larger throttle body is a nice option if your intake can feed it.
High-lift valve cams would round out the options nicely.
Lighter driveshaft and wheels will 'free up' power, LSD and tires will add traction for digs and corner-exits, otherwise a tune will be the best way to optimize your bolt-ons.
