Default 08 auto 350z no crank new battery alternator starter good

Went to autozone guy checked alternator starter passed battery bad changed battery no crank now. Lights on dash work headlights, ac, windows, etc. only codes for oxygen sensor cam crankshaft. Cars been stalling for months in first gear if not given enough gas from idle. Not sure if those sensors would be the issue. Any help appreciated.

If it's throwing codes for the sensors, then you should replace them. Go with OEM. Do not use autozone or some aftermarket replacements, otherwise, you'll get the same issues in the future and just end up spending more money on getting the correct sensors.

So it was probably a bad starter from the get go. Does it make a single click when you try and start it?

Could try and start it in neutral, could also tap on the starter if you can find it. It's not very easily accessible.

If it's not the starter it's probably a key issue. But most likely the starter.

Starter... One click (get a new starter)
Battery bunch of clicks (get a new battery or jump start)
Sensors are not going to stop a car from cranking over, might prevent it from starting but it would still crank.

If the starter doesn't click at all, double check the relay/solenoid for the starter circuit. Also make sure to check your engine ground connections. The starter on the 350Z and many modern cars is grounded through the engine block. If the engine block isn't properly grounded, the circuit cannot be completed and therefore no crank (will also cause a lot of other electrical issues).

If your crank sensor is toast the car won’t ever start because the ECU can’t find the position of the crank and then doesn’t know when to inject fuel or fire plugs. It’ll crank, but it won’t start.

If your cam sensors are toast the car may start but will die randomly, particularly at low rpm where the cam controls work the hardest to increase torque.

Crank and cam sensors are relatively inexpensive. The crank sensor is easily accessed from under the car. The cam sensors are on the back of the heads. They use a slightly different plug that requires you to push before you pull, just be careful you don’t break it. It’s also super tight back there, prepare for much cursing and to sacrifice some knuckle blood.
