Common misconception, adding overpriced aftermarket parts(especially “jdm” attached) does nothing to add value. The used car market spike typically reflects the demand for the cars. Of course high mechanical wear always from miles ****s us on resale. If you never drive it, the value will be higher.

Parts certainly don't add value, but nice parts by themselves can retain value better than a cheap ebay knock off. I run a set of OG Momentum headers that I'd easily be able to get all of my money back out of. Same with the Voltex body pieces. Definitely don't modify as some sort of investment, it isn't, but you can do it smartly to help get more of your money back later on.
