Salvage Rebuildable title question 350z roadster

Default Salvage Rebuildable title question 350z roadster

Basically I bought a roadster a while ago to build up and got jipped thinking it was rebuilt title. Completely my fault but what can I do . It turns out its a salvage rebuildable title but I have no paperwork other then the bill of sale and title.

The car is in completely decent working order, all electronics work, with the exception of the top does not go down. runs and drives perfect, new pulleys, new lights , and was gonna put a new canvas top on it . What should my next step be? Do I get it inspected somewhere to get a rebuilt title or what can I do ? Anyone with similar experience that could help would be great. The only car I have and I am young and dumb in florida and need to get this car on the road but I dont know where to begin.
Before anyone ask the obvious I have no contact with the original owner I got it from its been a long time and I moved.

You should direct this question to the FL DMV. Pretty sure it’s a “simple” process given how many of these I see everywhere.

Mic's got the right idea (as usual)! Every state has a different set of rules and regs, so consulting with your local Florida DMV is the best course of action.
