Won’t start

Was driving my 03 350z a month or so ago and I had hit a manhole really hard. Snapped the rack and pinion in half, bent the crossmember, and put a dent in the subframe. The car also doesn’t start. I have gotten it to start twice now by hooking up my other car holding that car at 3,000 and then the z would start but still not too willingly. I had replaced the battery and starter. Not to mention I had found the ground wire was out of the starter when I first put it up after it happened. When I try to start the car not hooked up to cables the dash lights flicker occasionally and just clicks. Could this be an issue in the wiring on the positive side of the battery?

Would like you have a bad connection

Sounds to me like a bad ground. Try this: connect your booster cable negative side from a clean metal or aluminum part of your problem car’s engine to a clean metal part of it’s own body/frame, see if it starts.
