Hey so I bought a 06 350z and it’s been a month have no issues with it. The battery was dying so I replaced it couple of weaks ago. I have been driving my car since. Yesterday when I turn the key my car didn’t start but all the other things were working. I jump started it and it came on. I drove it for 40-45 kms. When I tried to turn on the car same thing happened all the lights and stereo was working but the car didn’t start. So I removed all the wiring for the subwoofers and capacitor but it didn’t turn on. When I tried jump starting it came on. Drove it for another 10-15 kms came home turned the car off and tried turning it back on it doesn’t start. Anyone knows what the issue could be. Could it be the faulty battery, week alternator or something else I should be looking for

@Davinder I had this issue recently. Really frustrating. Turned out to be that the little rubber caps that go on the clutch peddle (brake has two also) got brittle and popped out. When that happens, pressing the clutch doesn't release the switch that is normally pressed and doesn't signal to the engine's computer that you pressed the clutch so the engine can start. Here is the part: https://www.z1motorsports.com/brake-...73d581dde4eac9
I ordered these and they work great:
Hope this helps.

good one, Richard! this could be otherwise a costly problem to troubleshoot. I've never heard of the rubber stopper before so I appreciate the heads up.
