350z won’t start???
So I just recently bought a 2005 350z. Ive been having a problem starting it. When I first bought it, we had to pop the clutch to be able to start it. I drove it home 2 hours, absolutely no issue.
I bought a new starter and a new battery, replaced them both and still I can’t start the car unless we push it/ pop the clutch (sometimes). Other times, it’ll start perfectly fine.
Car has a super bad wiring job that was done to connect aftermarket mishimoto fans, which I’m dying to get fixed.. I’ve thought maybe it’s the wiring thats causing a parasitic draw and draining the battery? But the battery can be at 12v and still not start.
The starter clicks. Battery is not bad I got it tested..Anybody have any clue what the issue could be or what I should take as a next step or look into? Planning to get a multimeter and check every wire with the starter alternator and battery for damage or shortage.
No lights on the dash, when the car runs is runs awesome so I’m definitely sad that I can drive it whenever I want.
Im pretty new to cars and definitely no mechanic but learning!😅

Hey bro, when I got my Z (recently as well), the previous owner had a subwoofer installed, which he took out but left the wires attached. Because the wires were attached from the battery to nothing, basically not attached to something else, my battery was draining quickly and had to jump start it. I haven't had an issue since removing the cables.
