Default Burnt metal smell coming from rear of car

Hey all,
I bought an 07 350z last October with 130k miles and I have absolutely loved every bit of it, but have one issue. I’ve noticed a burnt metallic smell very similar to the smell of an oven that’s turned off. I only notice it after driving 2+ miles. I also noticed the smell is towards the rear of the car. I know it’s not my brakes because I just recently installed new pads, rotors, and steal braided lines. I was hoping this would fix my issue but the smell is still there. I also had to install a brand new clutch after a couple of weeks after the purchase. So I’m confident the smell is not coming from the clutch. If anyone has any idea as to what the issue is I could definitely use the help. I also would like to note I do have the famous cv axle click that I plan on fixing this weekend… maybe this could play a role in the smell. Thanks!

With new brake pads you can still get a burnt smell. Also maybe something on the exhaust touching thats getting melted? good luck

Actually if you've just changed your clutch, just changed your brake pads, repost after 500 miles. Until things are
bedded in, they're going to be noticeable ; )
