Default What is the plug under the armrest for?

2003 Touring

I recently pulled the interior to pressure wash my carpet and when reinstalling I run into this plug. Now it may have been disconnected this whole time but I don't recall it from the past.

I checked and there doesn't seem to be an empty female but maybe I missed something.

I drove 30 miles and my ABS SLIP VDC light are still on.

Iirc there is a gyroscope to the left of the E brake, measures G forces to predict pending wreck and cut throttle. I could easily be wrong but that would correlate to the slip light. Gl!
