I recently replaced my radiator and today I am filling the system. I am trying the burp the system but anytime I put coolant into the funnel it just goes strait to the reservoir. I have watched multiple videos and I have pictures of procedures by Nissan. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or if something’s messed up on the car.

 

Are you using a spill free funnel meant for this application or just a generic cone funnel? Something like should be used. The correct radiator adapter should block off the overflow port and prevent the coolant from spilling into the reservoir. The coolant will be kept in the funnel to allow for easy air removal (burping).

Did you replace any other components in your coolant loop? Such as hoses or the thermostat?
