Default 19 Inch G35 Wheel Specs?

Hello! I have a 2003 Nissan 350z, and I just recently bought a set of 19 inch G35 wheels to put on the car, but im wondering what tires I should put on the car? I really dont like the look of a stretched tire, and want the more flush with the lip look, where you cant see the tip of the wheel lip, and I have also heard that the 19 inch g35 wheels are staggered, so i wasnt sure, the current tires on the car were run on a stance car, and every single one of them is a different brand/tire, and one of them is a 40 aspect ratio while all the others are 35, so i need to replace them, but wondering what mm thickness I should get? Any help is appreciated thanks!

I think the OEM sizes on the staggered G35 Rays wheels would be 225/40/19 and 245/40/19. If you're going wider, just stay within a 3% rotational difference to avoid problems with VDC/TCS (if you have it).

There's no telling what size wheels you have based on the tire sizes since people are dumb. Sounds like the previous owner was especially dumb since they were running 3 tires on a 35 and one 40. The specs should be stamped on the inside of the spokes. They should be 19x8 and 19x8.5 with a +30/33 offset.

You are tire limited by the wheel size, 8F/8.5R.

225/40 front and 245/40 rear are your best fit balancing the wheel width limitation with stagger requirement.

Ideal tire on 19s is 245/35 & 275/35 but the OE G35 wheels aren't wide enough to support those sizes.

Feel like I just answered a similar questiion earlier...

Stock 18s
225/45-18 F 25.97"
245/45-18 R 26.68"

Your tires

F: 225/30-19 F 24.31"
R: 245/35-19 R 25.75"

So yeah, sorry, but lame sizing. I already gave you optimal sizing for narrow wheels.

People, please pay attention to overall rolling diameters.

1. Section width/25.4 (converting to inches or if you're in the metric world, skip this.)

2. (Section width x aspect ratio in percentages, e.g. ".35", ".40") x 2 (two side walls)

3. + wheel diameter

4. = overall diameter

Not rocket science.

Comparing stock 18" diameters to your 19" diameters. Doesn't matter what size the wheels are so long as you have tires of close to the same as stock diameters. Even if you had 20s, you still need to calculate the diameters to keep them close to stock (and suitable for the wheel width).

You wanna put those short tires on and adjust out the wheel gap and speed differences, just do it. I'm done.

on my stock 18x8 wheels, my first tire upgrade was 255/40 rear, 245/40 front. no problem with fitment or width.
