Default I have a few 350Z questions...

I really didn't seriously consider the 350Z until I finally saw one in person this week and I was amazed! I will hopefully get to drive one by Wednesday. However, I am torn between the track and the touring models. I have spent a lot of time on the Nissan website, but there is some misinformation regarding the std. equipment on the track model. Does the track have power seats? Does it have Bose? Xenons? What is it missing that the touring has besides the leather? For those that ordered your 350, what does the dealer require for a deposit to order the car? I assume it would take to 2-3 months to get the car if there is no waiting list. Anyone with a non-track model feel the brakes aren't strong enough? Thanks for the help!

track has the renowned rays wheels that are gonna be rare, but touring has all the stuff the more "refined" gentle enthusiast.

I think its generally accepted at this board that the track is "cool"...i dont know.

Given the choice again, I would have gotten the Track instead of my Touring. I would have added aftermarket leather, which was the primary reason I got the Touring. Didn't know at the time that it would be an option.

The Rays or the brakes alone are worth the mark up. I don't think you will notice a difference with brake "stopping power." The Brembos will fade less under repeated use, ie. track conditions. For everyday driving, there's no difference, other than the Brembos look very cool.

Power seats are nice, but not absolutely mandatory. It's actually easier to get your specific seat spot with manual. You can remember that it's "four clicks back, then 5 clicks on the tilt." With power, I'm always kinda guessing. The Bose radio....well, enough has been said about that.

I prefer the Track except for the leather and spoilers. Even with aftermarket leather, you can really see the difference in factory and aftermarket just in the quality of the installation. I also don't like the spoilers, I'd rather not have them.

At 6' 3", the position for the power seat is easy to remember...all the way back.

Saw a track on Friday, impressed by the wheels, but still prefer the amenities offered in my Touring. Almost all city driving, never going to race it, wanted the comfort.

It's all personal preference, but the only Z I'd consider buying is the Track. It has so much more physical presence IMO, and the Touring has a lot of stuff I wouldn't care much about (Blose, power/heated seats, etc.) anyway.

The track has brembos, rays and the aero package (standard) over the performance model. The touring (with manual transmission) has power, heated leater seats, heated mirrors and the Bose sound system over the performance model.

I wish the track model came with heated leather seats.

had originally ordered a touring because I wanted leather. After hearing about all the aftermarket options for leather I decided to scale down my order to the Enthusiast which I really like for the value.Really didnt need power seats or heated seats for that matter and really glad now I didnt pay for bose. Also saved a few bucks on insurance but that was just an added bonus.I wish they offered the brembos as an option they are sweet.

I don't think I'll miss the leather, but I do kind of wish I could get a heated passenger seat, I am always hot, and my girlfriend is always cold....

I don't miss the leather at all on my Track model... after all, the cloth seats offer great butt traction.
