Jacksonville Deliveries
I spoke to a friend of mine at the NNA Regional Office distribution division in Jacksonville, Florida today and she stated that the next boat is scheduled to be in on the 14th of October but to expect it early, as much as 5 to 8 days.

I went to Team Nissan in Marietta, GA to see one this weekend. I noticed that all of their 2003 Maximas and Altimas have "JAX" on their deliver stickers (in the front window).
I take this to mean that all their Maximas and Altimas came from Jacksonville,FL.
If this is the case one can only assume:
1. The 350z also come from JAX
2. All Atlanta area 350z also come from JAX
The time table given seems correct, as I was told by United Nissan of Morrow,GA (where I unfortunatly ordered my car) that I could expect delivery between October 10 - 14th.

Almost forgot... could you ask your friend what the name of the boat would be that the 350Z's are supposed to be on.
I think I read somewhere in the forum that the Jacksonville Docks had a website where you could check the status of ships.
That if formation would be great!

My dealer gave me a delivery date of Oct 16th -- this must be the ship my car is on

Because the ship
is doing a turn around. It stops in JAX then continues up the coast. It next stops in JAX on the return trip. To have Z cars on the second date it would have to either not unload on the first stop or pick-up some further up the coast an return them to JAX.

All Nissans cars in the Southeastern US come through Jacksonville for delivery and final QA checks, thats why you see the sticker on your car.
Also, JAXPORT does have a website, www.jaxport.com.
KYUSHU, what side of town do you live on? Nice to see some others on the list from Jax.

Yes I ordered from Town Center -- I called 1-800-Nissan1 yesterday and got my order number and VIN number, as well as delivery date.
Then Town Center left a voicemail giving me the same info yesterday, so hopefully it's correct. I'm pretty sure that most of the sales people don't know -- my contact is the sales manager. Unfortunately, my Z is the first one they are getting, which I'm not too thrilled about, since I really don't want it shown or driven by anyone (including sales people).

I just checked both the Port of Jacksonville website for Hual arrivals and the Hual website for ships on their way to Jacksonville
