New car question
Alright, I really like the 04 350Z and want to buy one, I can afford it and test drove it and loved it. So I come to do my research like all educated buyers should do and I read bad post after bad post, etc.
I want everyone to chime in good and bad, it just seems like only the people with bad experiences are posting. Is there anyone who has had zero cupping and feathering issues with the tires?
Is there anyone who hasn't had transmission issues?
Are the trany issues on manual or auto?
Also everyone said only buy from a certified nissan dealership, how do you find this out? I would think all the ones linked from the actual nissan site would be certified.
It seems a lot of issues are on the 03, is this true? Is 04 ok?
Thanks in advance to all who respond, very concerned about this.

I have an '04 Enthusiast 6MT that's 2 weeks old with 400 miles. No problems, but it's too early to tell. There are many, many threads on tire cupping, transmission problems, etc.. Do a search on these. I think the bottom line is many Z owners love their car, even with some problems. Good Luck!

Hey,
There are LOTS of threads on this very same question. Use the search feature and save yourself a bunch of time.
To keep the answer real short, most of the "first year gremlins" seem to have been eliminated in the first year. I have an '04 Track with about 1100 miles, so I can't say anything about the tire wear issue, but so far the only negative I have on the car is the clunky transmission. It takes some getting used to, but it's livable. Good luck!

Not Again.
We've already done this so many times
If you did your research here then you know all these answers.
Not trying to Flame, Really, but this topic is repeated over and
over again.
