Go to nissanusa.com to price out a Touring model with the options you/your dad want on the car.

yeah, i would check like above at edmunds.com and bluebook.com
for kelly blue book prices, kelly's says 33,163 for a touring in zip 75201, i just picked a zip from dallas i think. But compare options, if you want the bose and leather and heated mirrors and stuff like that, the touring is what you want. If you want to put racing seats and your own modded stereo and stuff like that, get the enthusiast. If you're leaving it stock, touring would be a little nicer.

My dad's face all but hit the floor the first time he saw my Z. He said he had thought about getting one but couldn't (he needs a much bigger car for work). It's always fun to make the parents jealous.

The reason my dad wants a touring is because of safety...i was going with the enthus..but after he compared them at edmunds.com he say the more safety features on the touring...He is worreid since its my first sports car like this...even though I have been racing with other people for years that I am gonna die and he wants me to be safe as possible...I dunno lol.....

Yeah, the Touring has VDC and the Enthusiast doesn't. The Performance has it as well, so I take it you're getting an automatic.

The 6-speed touring has VDC, the auto only has TRAC.

VDC only comes on 6 speed manny trannies above the Enthusiast models. If you are getting a Touring auto it will have TCS but not VDC.

If safety is the issue, the Performance model comes with all safety related stuff plus the tire monitors. The latter have turned out to be very useful to me.

Then I don't seen the point of you getting the Touring over the Performance if you're getting a standard. Both have TCS and VDC. The Touring has leather seats (which you might replace) and a Bose system that I've heard nothing but complaints about. Save a few bucks and pick up the Performance (if VDC is something you want) or save a bunch and pick up the Enthusiast (if you don't care about VDC or wheel size) and spend on mods (like the racing seats).

I have a touring model.........if I had to do it again, I would definately get the Track model. Tell your dad the track comes with better brakes.......and therefore, is safer....lol

I have an Enthusiast and if I had to do it all over again, I'd get an Enthusiast.
