Default GUESS what happened to me now.

venting guys

ok this is the deal, got my tires slashed this weekend, what ever i have my stock wheels thank god.

today got my car detailed cause it was so dirty sitting outside the garage the whole weekend.

the detail guy calls me and tells me to come over, i do and my s2k antenna is apart from the car. the freakin threads are stuck in there flush with the unit.

he says he can fix it, tries it and doesn't work, i go to nissan, and they are telling me 265 for parts and labor.

i need a whole new base for the antenna and new wiring, what ever he said he'll fix it for me but its just no luck with the car this week.

argggggggghhhhhhhh

venting

is this is true for the base of the antenna, its mad expensive plus not covered under warranty

Dang man... sorry to hear. Hope that you're able to keep it in the garage. Plus changing your license plates might help to keep the perp away... at least for awhile

So do I understand that the threaded shaft of the antenna is snapped of inside the base? Surely there is a way to back that out? Any shop ought to be able to reverse-thread a hole down the center of the shaft so you can screw it out......

Anyway, sorry to hear about this.

Thats what I was gonna say. You should be able to drill it out somehow. Worth a shot if you are planning on paying to fix it anyways.
