Who gives a crap, it's a station wagon. I'm sure Dodge could make the Caravan fast too. It'd still be a minivan.

 

Subaru underrated the hp and torque on the turbo forester and the engine is basically a detuned WRX STi. Lots of low end torque and low gearing (4.44 final) make for quick launches. Manual turbo foresters have no problem running low 14's stock and one person has gotten a 13.9 stock but all have low trap speeds relative to the ET. Don't look for much top end.

Probably the best sleeper car on the market today and if you could score a turbo and an intercooler from someone who's upgraded their Sti, then things can get really fun. May require a 5-point harness for the dog and kids though.

 

Does it come with a baby seat? Look at it, its a station wagon!
I`m surprised it doesnt have wood paneling on the side.
I guess if your in a hurry to pick up the kids at daycare, or late for a PTA meeting, this is the way to go.

The reason the Z got smoked was because the driver of the Z was laughing so hard at the Subaru he couldn't drive.

 

My original idea for my STi plate was EATS ZS... then I bought a Z.

 

I like the STi, but Subaru is queer. End of story.

 

Funny marketing they only give you part of the story... Sure that thing is fast in 0-60 because of the all wheel drive, your comparing apples to oranges but here is the remaining of the story...


after they hit 60mph the 350z pulls like a bat out of hell as the Z driver see's through his rear view mirror the man getting slapped by his wife for racing and he just starring wishing he never got married or had kids in the first place... AND A DAMN DOG!

Ok, fine it'll beat a 350Z 0 to 60. But how does it handle? If you took that station wagon on the track it would get eaten alive by any real sports car. Plus look at it.....it's one of the ugliest cars on the road. I don't know about Subaru and the people who buy them they must be blind or belive that someone will acctually notice tha they blew 35K on an economy car? One last thing, you put a turbo on anthing with enough boost and it'll be fast, just try in on a Z.
