I somehow knew it was gonna be the Forrester before I even clicked on this link. We'll still smoke em. They'll lose breath up top pretty quickly.

 

What makes me mad is that they target the Z ... everybody forgets it also must be faster than the S2000, RX-8, Z28, Boxster S, WRX, GTO, etc. etc. etc.

LOL, woouldn't be good marketing for them to say the mighty WRX just got smoked by an SUV.

I agree with the "its still a dump truck" comment.

 

I magine what the Porsche owners were sayin when Nissan had the slogan of somthing like "PORSCHE"S to Pass up"...

All I got to say is, "The idiot that flipped the SUV in the first turn while racing me is going to be awfully uncomfortable in the back of my Z for his ride to the hospital!"

 

Heck, that's nothing. A 92 Typhoon (GMC Jimmy) would have beat the Z 10+ years ago. Plus, my 91 Syclone (GMC S15) with a 4.5 0-60 would roast it, too.

People don't want to believe me when I tell them my 13 year old nearly stock truck is significantly faster in a straight line

 

And take it in the dirt, and we'd lose, too

 

how is the Syclone holding up? I always wanted one but never bought one because my buddy always had problems with his Syclone. It's an amazing machine though.

 

Whatever. Put the dog and five people in there, and I seriously doubt it would be the Z. Plus, wait until it`s a nice hot day when the station wagon`s turbo is sucking in a lot of hot air, and there`s no way it will beat "The mighty Z"

 

Mine's fine, and my sister's 92 Ty is fine, too, with the exception of losing the brake controller.

Of course, mine is low miles at around 20K It is kind of a garage queen, and has never been a daily driver. It does make fast trips to Home Depot a lot, though

 

Besides the fact that 5.3 is BS.. IT BEATS THEIR OWN FLAGSHIP.. THE WRX!! hahah WHAT kind of marketing is that?! If your going to BS.. you should make sure you arent ripping apart your own flagship sportscar. hahah that irony is tooo funny
