Scaf eats Soup...Get's VIN...Pigs Fly
So Friday, I drive about 8 hours from Orange County to Sonora CA on some personal business. I decide to eat at a place called "Wilma's" in downtown Sonora. The specialty of the house is Lentil soup. The walls of this small restaraunt are covered with paintings of pigs that have wings.
I drive home this morning, check my email, and whatdya know: an email from my dealer with my VIN#!
Now, I can't be sure this will work for everyone, but I think it's worth a try. If you haven't rec'd your VIN yet, head out to Wilma's in Sonora CA, and enjoy the Lentil soup. If you can't make it to Sonora, then look for a restaraunt called Wilma's in your area, or find a diner in your area that is famous for Lentil soup. Let me know if it works, and I will update The Vin Soup
PS: I do not have tracking numbers for the following soup participants. Please let me know if you have (or still haven't) recieved your tracking number. Except for a few of the most recent orders, I think that most of you have probably rec'd tracking #'s, and I have just don't know of it, or, you are MIA.

Congrats, Scaf. I got some good news this weekend too. My car originally had September delivery, then some time in October, then October 15. Got a call from dealer on Friday and they said it is due on Sep 30. Vin popped up on the nissan website too. I probably should wait to post till Monday but I have a feeling I will be away from the website for a little while.

Well....looks like getting in touch w/ NNA Consumer Affairs REALLY does move mountains (or in my case, a certain 2003 350Z).
On Wednesday, this was my course of action:

Today, I FINALLY see my car in my dealers inventory!
I soon will be able to add my last ingredient to the soup, a "delivery taken" notation!
And the village rejoiced!!!
