Default Waxing your Z ?

Someone recommended that I wax my brand new Z immediately. Even though it is brand new. Is this the correct thing to do ?

yep. many posts about this. You can wax your Z the minute it rolls off the production line. Paint from the factory is cured at very high temps, and does not need additional time like aftermarkey paint jobs that cure at lower temps.

I waxed mine within a week of having it. No swirls, no scratches, no nothin.

Wax it as soon as you can making sure the paint has fully cured for at least 90 days. One way to find out is to look at your vin # plate located on the driver's door jam. It will tell you the month and year your Z was built. Three month after the prod date should keep you on the safe side.

go to zainostore.com, buy their products, follow thier waxing guide, the stuff is serious.

(Yes I just recently joined the ranks of the zainoholics.)

Don't "Wax" it! Polish it! Become a "Zainoholic".

I know that it technically isnt wax but I somehow find it easier to call it wax. But yeah, use zaino, it rocks!

How many layers SungNamZ? That is a fine looking brick you have there.

After reading a few more threads about Zaino and going to their website, I am switching over to Team Zaino. So i know their wax / polish is great, how are their other products, such as their rim and tire cleaner ?

Had a confrontation with two retreads coming off a truck that had two blowouts. They found their way to the bumper, left quarter panel, hood and Zion light. Not to mention rocks that messed up a windshield...

Had 51 layers. Hoping not all is removed to paint, but doesn't look like there are going to leave me any. Looks like I will be starting from layer one...

Try Meguiars Tech Wax. I like it better than Zaino, and I've used Zaino quite a while
