concerns with my brembos
hey guys i have a cocern on my brakes.have any of you guys experienced this.some times when im pulling out of a driveway or comming to a stop.my brakes tend to have a funny vibration feel to them for no apparent reason.i'm not even braking hard or going very fast.it almost feels like the ABS is kicking in to high gear.i take my foot off the brake for a split second and brake down and the feeling is gone.i talked to the dealerships service manager over at mossy nissan.he told me that the brembo's are very sensitive and to brake down the car will stop you.he also mentioned that some times people will notice that and they'll start pumping the brakes a big no no.the brakes normaly work great but that feeling seems odd.it happens at a slow speed thank god!but the car doesn't fail to stop.any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated.i'm doing my first auto X during motor sport auto weekend.thanks guys.

I'm just under 8000 and it's much ebtter than it used to be. I think my brakes/pads were still breaking themselves in. Yours should get better, but if you have some free time, it might be worth asking someone at a dealer about it.
Oh, by the way, zlion, I have noticed an odd sort of noise coming from the back brakes on my Brembos, but I was going to wait past break in to ask a Nissan dealer about it. The noise only happens at low speeds and sounds like . . . well . . . I can't describe what it sounds like, but it only comes from the rear brakes.

hey frog
that seems a little weird that it would happen going backwards.then again it's a weird feeling period.i just want to know that it's safe either way.thanks for the reply atleast now i'm not the only one who's experienced it.when you tell people about it face to face they kind of give you that weird look.like as if something is wrong with you versus the car.who knows i gues i'll find out at motorsport auto how well the brakes really work.
