Default my350z..looking not so good

When I first joined the site it was only to do some research before I went to buy a Z and my350z.com serious was the dam best forum I have read. but.... for the past let me say six months this site has been on a crazy rampage due to a huge amount of disatisfied customers. not to put any body down but from any non-owners point of view it seems first the Z33 is a problematic car and second from a current owner there are a lot of bic+hin and moanin on this site.
so to my conclusion, besides the track info and meets may I say my favorite forum has been deminished into a site for complant. So come on guys and gals! The do-it-yourself guiders, the track runners, photochoppers, and dealers/associates of Nissan stand up and make this site more enjoyable for all.

I have nothing bad to say about my `04 performance. The dealership has been great from day one, and I have had no problems.
Of course, I don`t beat the hell out of my car, and I have no intention of screwing with the motor as far as modifing it. 287 horse more than meets my requirments.

Yeah, it was down for like 10 1/2 years or something ridiculous like that. But it's back now.

*sigh*

There is nothing “wrong” with the Z and, yes, there is a lot of bic+hin and moanin (sic) on this site.

With all due respect, you don’t seem to understand car forums on the internet. Fellow owners & potential owners come here to brag about their car, ‘dis other’s rides, talk trash, and ***** about their Zs, dealers, salesmen, & Nissan in general. Share what is wrong with their car in order to get advice or see if their problem is common to others.

Frankly, I think this forum has been operating “normally” for the year I’ve been here. That is why I love this site. All car forums are like this. Check out other sites; Corvettes, Porsches, Hondas, you name it, they are all the same. Everyone bitches and moans.

And who would want to just visit a site where everyone just had feel-good threads. “Another wonderful day in the neighborhood with my Z” Boring….

Peace

I think the site is as good as ever. Just a lot of noobies asking old questions. With the search fixed that seems to be going away.

As far as people bitchin, your gonna hear a lot more of that than praise. Frankly this site is here for people to come together and ask questions and get advice about their cars. Cars have problems. People like to ***** about thier problems, and rightfully so. It is what it is.

R.J - You took my words, word to word, except mine is a 03 performance. I would say awesome car, zero issues & great dealership experience!

well i for one couldn't agree more with you...and i am a member of several other car sites. defintely much more b*tching here than the other sites i visit.

and no i don't have to come here...just hoping it gets better. i personally know a few other members here that feel the same way but are hesitant to be vocal about it. I think it's funny that people here are so quick to flame the thread starter...it's obvious he/she is only trying to make things better here.

In the buisness world it has been shown that 1 out of 10 happy customers will tell someone else about their pleasant experiance, yet 9 out of 10 will tell many about an unpleasant experiance, therefore i see no suprise in what you feel the tone is about the views expressed on this forum. I for one am very happy with my '03 redline Touring, even though i have had the window streaking and had to pay for an alignment. (build date--10/02)
I would buy the car all over again and have had no real problems with my dealership, yet can appreciate the need to vent from time to time that other Z owners have, and would never begrudge them that option, nor their opinion.

well a plethora of reactions. stfu? as rude as that seems to be i would respect that. the more i say about this issue seems like the more i would be joining the 'complaintors' so i would like to keep it short.
my350z isn't the only forum or car forum i read. and i do know other car forums do post complaints, maybe even more than my350z.com. but reguardless of that fact, my350z.com was not like this 18months ago (about the time i joined) nor is some other sites such as is300.net.

i'm glad there are some that are willing to come out and agree with my views, thanks. but my point is not to receive positive replies, but rather have people to be more diligent on their complaints and posting threads. so GO my350z.com!

I would have to agree with the fact that more people, b^tch, moan, and want to sue than any other forum I have been too.

There's definitely a lot of complaining here. More so than on other Z forums even. I think a big part of the problem is that the Z is the first new car for a lot of people and so they weren't ready to deal with all of the first/second year issues that cars often have. Over time though, the complaining will most likely die down. There will be less of the significant issues that plague the Z, and other forums will grow, so people will have other places to turn.

Here's to the future.
