Default Touring Model / Dashboard Cup Holder

Ok, call me stupid, but does the Touring Model have the dash cup holder (where a glovebox would be in a normal car)?

My 350Z has the square cutout of what looks like a cup holder, but I can't seem to get the cup holder to open.

I really don't want to go to the dealer and ask for assistance.

When I took delivery there was one of those, "Do not remove until delivery" stickers there (regarding I think the airbag). The dealer removed the sticker (with a little force).

I'd appreciate some assistance so when I decide to drink in the car (6 months probably from now) I can use it.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

yep! that's your cup holder. Push in and if it does not pop out then push IN and if it still does not pop out then, pull/push. Once it opens you will push down on the plastic insert in the center of the holder which locks it into place

good pushing!

Spring loaded, so just push it. One it pops out, gently pull on it to fully "blossom" Yeah its cheap, but hey.

How hard do you push?

I can't seem to get it to go out.

I don't want to break it... even if it is cheap and flimsy.

Push in, it will pop out. Pull out all the way to get it to fully expand. It works great for cans and small bottles and cups, but I wouldn't put a Big Gulp in there.

GOT IT...

It just needed some extra pressure... I wasn't pushing that hard.

It's nice, but I agree... maybe a can of soda... definatly no Big Gulp.

its beefier than the one in my p.o.s. saab, and it holds a big gulp with no problem.

Works fine for a Fruity Freeze, but I'd be careful of Smoothies. Unsprung weight and all.....
