Hey wotnot,
I've got no problem so far other than a whistling noise. Been away in Mexico and what do I get when coming back to Toronto...lots of snow. Couldn't take her out and oh how I do miss driving it. When you do get yours, you'll know what I mean

Oh btw, mine's BLACK(gorgeous when waxed)

Hi Wotnot, not long now eh? Any idea on a delivery date now? Talked to the dealer?

No real issues with my car since the last time we spoke. The passenger seat belt does rattle occasionally but its just a matter of leaning over and putting it in its clip. No visor rattles for me. I do get a noise that's like a whistle occasionally under acceleration. I think that it might be coming from the passenger side seatbelt assembly inside the pillar. Nothing annoying, just noticed it 2 or 3 times (maybe once every few weeks?). And my driver's side window squeaks a bit when first rolling down. Minor things that I'll have service look at when I take it in its first time.

Congrats wotnot, good to hear! Knowing the car's sitting on the dock must be killin' ya right now eh? lol

Try doing a search around for deciphering those VIN's. I remember reading something about that same thing way back in August when the first guys were getting their VIN's about that.

Drove beside a glacier pearl Z last week in Richmond (Alberta plates). That car was shining!! Looked good!

Hey, if you see Darshan at the dealer (I can't remember who you were dealing with at New Pacific), tell him Shad says hi.

Default I got it!!!!!!!!!

and man, it's a great feeling.....I want to thank all of the threads and posters here.....reading this forum helped alot in terms of knowing wot to look for........so ....at this point, here's wot I have noticed...

1. It tracks straight as a die....no right pull at all
2. The fit and finish was perfect......no gaps....nice and tight
3. The Bose system seems fine...a bit bassy....but other wise...it sounds fine..maybe not as good as the Infinity sysem I had in my 300m....but I have yet to listen to the cd player....
4. No seatbelt rattles a this point
5. No gear grinding......

This is after just a few km's.......but wot a fantastic ride.....quiet...not much road noise.....alot less than I thot there would be...and its going to be hard to keep this baby under the 4k rev limit.....it builds quickly....I will keep you all informed......all Vancouver/Lower Mainland owners......lets meet at Starbucks..compare notes sometime..later.....going for a ride....hehe

Right on, that's great news to hear. Yeah, that could have been me in White Rock. I'm out there quite a bit working with the hospital there.

I was in for my first service the other day. They had the "bonus" Z's that the dealer got (black, silverstone, brickyard). I was very impressed with Brickyard. I've yet to see that one "live" before. Its funny, we know so much more about this car than the dealers do. I had to tell them that the roadster was hitting California and being photographed (thanks to JmanZ's posts). There was an interested buyer checking out the black one in there at the same time. I was chatting with Darshan and they asked me what I thought. Well, what am I going to say? I could have talked their ears off for hours about how much I love the damn car.

I had a guy in a Porsche Boxster get out of his car downtown the other day and come up and talk to me about the car. Turns out that he had one on order and it got sold out from underneath him for some reason. He was dealing with NPN on one of the cars they had sitting in the showroom but wanted to pay msrp. They're still asking for $2K over list eh?

I have zero grinding of any gears. Nothing.

Just wait 'til you get the chance to wind this baby up and hear her howl. It sounds unreal.
