Default New to the boards...here's my car...non-350Z warning and DUW

Well it's not a 350Z...yet...but it's my baby

1996 Mustang GT with all the goodies. Chrome 18's wrapped in 275-35-18 Kumho 712s all around, aftermarket front bumper and rear wing, full exhaust, 4:10 racing gears, full suspension upgrades, bla bla bla. It's pushing a little over 300hp right now...

I'm lookin into gettin a Pikes Peak 350Z touring edition soon...

Til then...here' what gets me from point A to point B...rather quickly

What’s the "bla bla bla". Just interested as I had a 96 as well sold it 5 months after buying the Z. I think I drove it once . . .lol

You don’t want to know how slow that car was (although, it did sound good). It was hard to get power out of that modular motor without FI or N2O.

The bla bla bla refers to other little things like carbon fiber interior, stainless steel racing pedals, carbon fiber steering wheel ring, Silverstar bulbs everywhere, etc.

Yea stock the 96-98 is very slow...mostly due to the extremely restrictive intake, heads and exhaust.

Once I installed PI headsand intake, high flow catalytic h-pipe, and a high flow catback system it felt like a completely different car.

I'm in Essex County (Bloomfield). It's in North Jersey.

About 15/20 mins from NYC

Good looking Stang. That wheel style looks right at home on the Mustang.

Nice ride. Around here literally all the Mustangs have Cobra rims. Nice to see something different

Thanks for the warm welcome and compliments guys..

Yea my rims aren't too popular around the Mustang boards just because everybody instantly buys Cobra or Cobra R rims as soon as the decide to get new ones...and god FORBID anybody buys anything other than CObra or Cobra R rims they are automatically looked down upon....Oh well!

Nice GT. I sold my black '96 Gt (with cobra R rims haha) back in '99. Can't say I miss the car a whole lot....love the Z tho!

Bloomfield, huh? I grew up in Clifton and lived in Rutherford for most of my life. I miss living outside the city.
Anyway, welcome, and hurry up with the Z!!!!

They are actually an 18x9 version of the Mach1 Mustang rims
(originally 17x8)...except in chrome with a chrome center cap and with a 1" lip.

I have tried some different things with the exterior of my car...but ultimately whited almost everything out and went for the "clean" look

Glad you guys like it...hopefully I'll do the same to my future Z!
