Jeff, lucky you... you were able to get tickets for yesterday's game..

My girlfriend is a huge Angel's fan. She's been taking me to ocassional Angels games this past year. After living in orange county for over 20 yrs, the only part of the game that I would enjoy would be the fireworks on friday night, and the beer. (crowd enthusiasm and watching the Angels win was too much to ask for.) However when the Angels beat Oakland in September, it all changed.. I actually saw the Angels win a game.. And now look at them.. they kicked the Yankee's asses.

GO RED SOX!!!!! Ok, maybe next year. I'm pulling for the Angels also. I'll pull for anyone who takes care of those darn Yanks like the Angels did!! Actually, the only professional MLB games I'd been to were 2 Angels vs. Red Sox games back when they were the California Angels. (Dad was stationed @ Long Beach at the time).

Go ANGELS!!!!

Wow, it can't be that bad can it? Rooting for the Mets because the Yankees lost their first series in forever? That's a little rash.
As a die-hard (some would say brain-dead) Cub fan, I would think that the Yankees would get at least a one-time forgiveness. We've been forgiving the Cubs for 90 years now. I would step in front of a bus before I would root for the White Sox just because the Cubs has another losing season.
