Default Help! Delivery in three days - Front license plate??

The dealer is REQUIRED to mount the front license place - for the inspection next door - ARGH.

They DRILL the front license plate into the bumper. I have three days to prevent that.

Is there any bracket I can buy OVERNIGHT or something that uses the plastic grille to mount the license plate?

Or any better ideas? Can I use fishties for a temporary job? Will the garage be pissed? How many days do you have to get your car inspected after you bought it? For the state of MA.

Thanks! I'm too excited to do research right now.

I have one last chance to say no.

I got a 2003 350Z Performance with some accessories and side curtain air bags at an MSRP of $31,916.

I got it for $27,238 - about $4600 off. Is that good?

Thanks!

There's a vendor here that sells a bracket that prevents hole drilling. Do a search for zee-bracket and you should find it.

Congrats on the new Z by the way! Always good to see another in MA.

For a quick but tacky fix, just use electrical ties. That will get you out the door and then you can decide how you're going to deal with this problem on a permanent basis.

Yup, go with zip ties in the meantime, a pack of 20 for around $3 or so... what you're looking for on this forum is AudioPat's Zee Bracket, which is sold at many Nissan dealers around the country

Dont let the dealer do it. Go with the zip ties. And then get a Zee Bracket.

Make very clear that you won't accept car if they will put a whole in your bumber. Since you don't have car yet, you didn't sign any lease/loan papers yet right?

Tell him to use tie it to a grill and that you are buying zee-braket. Remember that you are the client who is paying, so be shure to demand respect to your requests.

After you got the car - jus untie plate and put it in a trunk
