You can't compare it to todays cars, in its day it was an awesome looking car, still is but shows its age, I agree it is very exotic and always wanted one, here is apicture of one I saw at a car meet a couple of weeks ago.
The Pantera was one badd *** car. I believe they went for about 10k and the corvette about 5 -6k at the time but I'm a bit foggy as it was so long ago. It was the first car I'd seen with a gate typer shifter and (as I remember) a ZF tranaxle where the engine was behind the tranny.
