Okay, whenever I go into 1st gear, right after letting out the clutch and rolling forward, I get this "pennies in a jar sound" for about 2 secs. It does it again in 2nd and then that's it.

What the hell is that? Is it normal? It's quite loud. It doesn't seem to do it if I let the clutch out and am not moving.

I have just 6042 miles on the car right now.

 

I would like to update this post with this.....the sound it's making is more like the old springs of a bed matress. Ya know, when ya sit on them they make that metallic squeak/flexing sound.

 

yeah i get this sound too, i havent figured out what it is yet. that, and i get a sound like something is clunking back and forth for a little bit out of first and second gear. i want to take it to the dealership but im afraid i will get bitched at for some of the mods i have and them not warrantying it.

 

you might want to think about taking off the CAI, and especially the nitrous. it won't take long to put back to stock. none of your other stuff matters at all.

 

I just turned in a jar of pennies for 30 bucks!
