Prepping for a 3M Invisible Bra Install
Hi guys,
I'm about to get a 3M bra installed and I'm wondering what I should do to prep the front end?
It is currently claybarred with Z5,Z6,Z5 and Z6 on it. Should I just wash it, apply another Z6 or Z2 and go for it?
Does anyone have experience with this?
Thanks!

I had clear bra installed at 500 miles on the odo. My installer suggested that there be NO wax as it allows the film to adhere better. I paid heed to his suggestion however I clay bar'd the car before the clear bra was installed just to be sure the film doesn't trap any dirt into the paint. Let the clear bra adhesive dry for a few days (like you would for window tint) then wash and Zaino to your heart's content.

My dealer installed my clear bra....and said it was worth $450 CAD so $399 sounds right.
I'm an installer for xpel and the best adhesion for the 3M product is with an unwaxed surface, squeaky clean and with as little air movement as possible to deny any airborne debris to get trapped between the two surfaces.
