Some dealerships would void our warranty for tinting windows, getting a new stereo, or even getting new rims!!
Anyone got a link to a site regarding about dealers CANNOT void the warranty on our cars because we performed some modification to the car?

Look up the Magnussen-Moss warranty act. It is the burden of proof of the dealership to prove that a particular modification was the CAUSE of a problem. For instance; if you put on a cold air intake and then had a suspension problem, the dealership wouldn't have a leg to stand on in denying your claim. Even something more closely related like you have an intake and are now experiencing fuel injection problems. The dealer would still have to prove that was the problem's cause. Still, I usually put my factory intake back in the car before any service because it's just not worth the hassle.

A safe way to go.... Modify your car with only Nismo/Stillen parts thru your dealer until your warranty lasts. This does not void your warranty. After your warranty expires, do whatever you feel like it. I know, I know, some of us just arent that patient. But why take a risk on a $30,000 car?
